Machine Learning Workshop

Are you a teen interested in making new things with technology? Curious about machine learning (ML) but don't know where to start? In the past several years, Machine Learning has been the buzzword, from the new algorithms Netflix and Amazon use to recommend you products to the latest technical intervention/disruption to the art world.

In this workshop, you will get the primer you need to begin using machine learning for your own creative projects.

At the end of the session, you will come away with an intuition about how ML works, and receive ideas plus working examples on how to apply ML as part of your creative toolkit. We’ll use Google's Trainable Machine to train a machine learning model so it recognizes and categorizes different types of recycling!

We will begin with the absolute basics about ML, so no prior knowledge or rigorous math background is necessary.

[CyberArts Camp] is one of my favorite new startups. They had taken a shipping container, and young people were learning coding, and tech, and internet of things inside. It was fabulous.
